WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG FEATURING ESTEE LAUDER ALL-DAY BB GLOW

Since it's started to get a little more hotter in Britain now and it's stopped raining so much (yes, you heard right it's stopped raining so much!) I decided I needed to mix up my makeup products a little. I wanted to opt for some lighter wearing products that still gave me a full faced makeup look but without the hassle and the layers on my face. Working an office different shifts ranging from 8am-5pm and sometimes 10am-8pm, you get very stuffy and you don't want all your hard work in the mornings to just run off your face. So I've mixed up the bag and thought I'd show you what I'm currently loving and using at the moment but also a quick everyday makeup post at the same time. Two birds, one stone kind of thing going on here today.

The Bag
I really wanted a little bag that was handbag sized friendly but as well as being able to fit everything in that I needed for a whole makeup look or possibly just even a touch up. The fact I can fit EVERYTHING in here for a look plus the brushes is just a bonus. I got the bag from H&M and it was the bargain price of £1.99 and it comes in a variety of colours but I managed to bag the last black one. I wanted the black one so it matched my handbag ... sad I know but we're all guilty of it. I just love the simplicity of it and also that it looks a little like a pegboard, it's also like a tardis as you'll be surprised at how much fits into it! I purchased this around a week ago so it is still current stock if you're lusting over it too.

The Contents
Estee Lauder Double Wear All-Day Glow BB Cream - I LOVE this product. It literally gives you the most effortless and flawless looking skin and all you need to do is put a few small blobs of the product onto your face and blend with your fingers. Alternatively if I'm feeling lazy I blend this on with a Real Techniques contour brush but any other fluffy brush would also do the job. It literally sets in seconds and I don't find I need to set this with a powder. When I first got the product I used to set this but find the finish looks a lot more natural without and the lasting power is the same either way.

Estee Lauder Disappear Concealer - This is a lovely concealer that actually has the consistency of foundation and gives you amazing coverage. I love this concealer under my eyes and don't find that it creases. It does cover spots but I put a little of the Mac Studio Concealer over the top as this is a little more matte.

Real Techniques Stippling Brush - I use this brush with my creme blush, just swirl it over the creme and stipple onto my cheeks. I find it gives the perfect deposit of colour but is a great brush to build up with. I've also used this with powder blush and it works equally as well.

Real Techniques Contour Brush - As explained above, I use this with the BB cream to give a flawless finish and also with both of my concealers. I love that the brush is fluffy and with every clean, it seems to get fluffier? I don't know but once it's given up the ghost, I'll be buying the whole basic set just to get this one again. It's funny as when I first got the set I didn't use this and then since seeing Kate from gh0stparties use it for concealer, I've been sold ever since and can't put it down.

Real Techniques Blush Brush - Pretty straight forward, it's a blusher brush. I actually do use this though for my bronzer as I find the Powder Brush is too large for contouring my cheeks and I used the contour brush for foundation .... it sounds a bit backwards but these brushes are very versatile. Apologies that they are dirty, but I had just used them before this photo.

Eco Tools Slanted Brush - I needed an eyebrow brush and this was in my collection. It's not the best and I am currently looking for a new one but it does the job.

Balance Me Shine On Tinted Lip Salve - I love this product, I actually got it free from Glamour last year some time and to be honest, it's probably coming up to it's expiry date but I will be repurchasing. It actually gives a lovely rosey tint to the lips and has a slight shimmer to the product. It seems quite watery at first but it just gives the perfect tint to the lips and gives you the 'your lips but better' look.

Mac Studio Concealer - This is a little old now and I've finally hit pan (it seemed to keep going on forever ...) and I love this. It's one of those products that I know is good but every time I start to really love it I end up finding another product and put it back into the beauty drawer. I got it back out again recently and can't put it down again. It's perfect at covering spots but without drying them out.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara - I got this as a little travel freebie when I purchased two products from Estee and I don't usually try new mascaras as they all just seem the same to me (such an un-beauty blogger thing to say I know) but I really actually like this one. It's really really black but gives such a natural volume to the lashes. It doesn't seem to leave a black mark under the eye either. Also a side note, I get really bad hayfever and also this does smudge, it really wipes away quickly if you needed to touch up or just get it off because of the hayfever.

Laura Mercier Eyebrow Gel in Fair - This is like a paint pot that you put into your brows and gives a tint of colour to the brows but without looking so harsh. I don't like my eyebrows to be TOO structured especially with a look like this so this product is perfect.

Bourjois Creme Blush in shade 01 - I usually go for a powder blush but bought this product a while ago and tried it a few times, didn't think much of it. Oddly since it's dried out a little and i've taken it back out of the beauty drawer, it's now amazing. It gives such a lovely light flush of coral colour and makes your cheeks just look healthy and glowy. It can actually be a bit bright sometimes so be careful with the amount you apply.
