TO THE RESCUE WITH NOUGHTY HAIR CARE

October 10, 2016

On the 5th of September this year, Superdrug launched a new, exclusive range from Noughty 97% Natural Haircare. The hair-care range contains no 'nasty' ingredients and is free from Sulphates, Parabens and Silicones. The range is also cruelty free which is something I strive from my hair-care/ skincare lately and is also vegetarian and vegan friendly. The brand has created a range suitable for each hair type out there from Normal/ Dry Hair and even Sensitive scalps/ Dandruff prone hair. I opt'd for the Frizzy/ Damaged "To the Rescue" range* due to the poor abuse my hair previously suffered from (being a bottle blonde is not kind to your hair!) and thought it could do with my some TLC.

Noughty is a UK based brand that doesn't take itself too seriously when it comes to hair-care - except for the ingredients used in their products. The range is 97% natural which can be hard to find in the current market and is available in 4 different ranges for all hair types.

The shampoo and conditioner in the "To the Rescue" range* contains conditioning and moisturising ingredients such as Almond Oil, Sunflower Seed, Vitamin E and Shea Butter. The packaging is sleek and stylish and the smell of the products is - wow. I will say I do quite like a lather on my shampoo but I am aware the main reason shampoos lather is due to the 'nasties' that these products avoid using. I did find shampoo-rinse-repeat does help a little to make sure your hair is thoroughly cleansed.

My hair can get quite greasy so sometimes products that are a little too moisturising is not a great thing, but I found this product gave me just the right amount of moisture and shininess to my hair. My hair didn't feel as dried out as after using other products and these are definitely products I will be keeping in my arsenal for future use.
