HAPPY HAUNTING WITH HOMESENSE*

October 03, 2017

It's the most wonderful time, of the year (I mean I do love Christmas but that's on a WHOLE other level and let's not mention the C word yet, it's October!) and Homesense kindly got in touch to see if I wanted to go along and shop their spooky selection this year.

I was a little saddened to see the collection was no where near as big as last year (last year it was in every section like Kitchen, Bathroom, you name it!) where as this year there was just one or two bits in each section and the actual Halloween collection itself looked a little sparse. BUT nether-the-less I found some little spooky bits to show you all and can't wait to use them. (Especially this year as we are now in our first rental house, we have room to throw our very own Halloween bash)

As I said above, I did struggle a little this year but I decided to go for a Haunting Hot Chocolate theme as these mugs were just too cute to leave behind. They are Fine Bone China and are super super good quality, I will probably continue using these outside of Halloween. They're a VERY generous size and will fit a very large hot drink inside (plus they were only £4.99* each!) Bring on the curling up by the fire! To go with our mugs (I had to buy a pair ..) we also grabbed this Chocca Mocca drinking chocolate tin for £2.99*. It's 100% Belgian Chocolate drops and you just melt them into milk with a saucepan and voila.

I then thought it only apt to have some spooky decorations to make the house feel more Halloweeny and found this gorgeous Paperlove Skull banner. I like that it has alternating glitter and plain skulls and it also comes with the twine for £3.99* (I did a rhyme) I also spotted this gorgeous Ginger Ray Halloween confetti which I thought would be PERFECT for our Halloween bash but also, how good does it look in these photos?

Now if you'll excuse me, a spooky hot chocolate is calling my name ...
